TAIWAN LINGUIST LIST
The Taiwan Linguists Chat Room, called Ling-TW for short, provides scholars of linguistics in Taiwan a format for exchanging opinions and posting bulletins. If you have postings on language, linguistics, or language learning, please send an email to lingtw@my.nthu.edu.tw. Please include your content within the body of the email, not as an attachment.
Those who want to subscribe to or terminate their subscription to the chat room should go to the Tsing Hua University Administration website http:// list.net.nthu.edu.tw/. Ling-TW does not have a separate website at this time. The system is set up so that if your Ling-TW subscription is sent to the address we have listed and is returned four times, your address will automatically be removed from the list of subscribers. If your mailbox has had problems receiving mail, please go to http://list.net.nthu.edu.tw to make certain that your name is still on the list of subscribers or send an enquiry to lingtw@my.nthu.edu.tw.
Before 2006 the system would automatically show the email address of the original sender of information as the sender's address, but under the new system, the sender's address for all content is Ling-TW. Therefore, if you would like to register for any conferences or other activities posted on Ling-TW, please contact the event organizers directly rather than sending responses to Ling-TW.
