Department of English, National Kaohsiung Normal University
The Department of English at National Kaohsiung Normal University invites applications for one
full‐time, tenure‐track position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above. The appointment will begin
on February 1, 2026. (For applicants without an assistant professor certificate, the employment start
date will depend on passing the external review of the doctoral dissertation and approval by the
university’s faculty evaluation committees.) The deadline for submitting application materials is
October 16, 2025 (applications postmarked after this date will not be accepted).

II. Requirements and Conditions:
․Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in a track‐related field.
․Excellent command of the English language.
․All faculty members, irrespective of specialization, are required to teach core undergraduate
courses (composition, listening and speaking, pronunciation), supervise graduate theses and
teacher training internships, and assist with administrative duties.

․Updated curriculum vitae (including an autobiography, list of publications, reasearch and teaching plan).
․Photocopies of M.A. & Ph.D. diplomas, and a photocopy of MOE teacher certificate (if applicable);

․Offprints/samples of publications within the last five years (articles under review are not acceptable).
․Two recommendation letters.
․A 10–15 minute video of an academic presentation on your research (provide video link or file).
